Life for me is usually full! I’m a homeschooling mom of three, two teenagers and one preteen. Our days involve plenty of schoolwork, FSB activities, and driving the kids to wherever it is they need to go. I also love having people in our home. Our table is often extended to its full capacity with extra chairs around it for neighborhood kids, church friends, family, or FSB students who love to have a home-cooked meal. I love making room for people in my home and everyday life.

I also am actively involved in our local church, where I serve on the women’s ministry board, helping to schedule and lead women’s events. I love to play the piano and sing and you will find me serving in this way many Sundays as Wes and I lead worship on rotation. I also enjoy getting to know Frontier students as we live life amongst them, have them in our home, and visit with them around campus. I drop into women’s classes here and there and share the things God has taught me over the years. I assist some with choir/drama, women’s classes, and serve on the Frontier Focus committee. Serving in these ways can exhaust me, but it is purposeful ministry as I seek to honor Christ with my time and my life.

I have always loved reading and writing. I gravitate toward Christian books and historical fiction, and sometimes I read books from perspectives I don’t necessarily agree with because I enjoy thinking through the ideas presented and evaluating them in light of Scripture. I also love gardening, though I haven’t had much opportunity to do it the past few years.

At the center of all of this is my love for Christ and His Word. I pray that the people I cross paths with feel loved, cared for, and are encouraged to live for the Lord.
