My approach to teaching Scripture is rooted in a dispensational understanding of the Bible, with a strong emphasis on sound hermeneutics — reading each passage in its literal, historical, and grammatical sense, and letting the text speak for itself within its original context. I believe the Word of God is living and active, and my prayer is that it wouldn’t simply inform my students’ minds but transform their lives. My goal isn’t just to convey information — it’s to see students grow in their walk with Jesus, developing a deeper love for Him and a firmer grasp of His Word that will carry them into a lifetime of faithful service and ministry. I teach at Frontier School of the Bible because of what happened here in my own life. From 2008 to 2011, I sat where my students now sit — and those years became foundational to who I am today. It was here that I grew in my walk with the Lord, was shaped by the Word, and have had the joy of serving Jesus Christ in full-time ministry ever since completing my time at Frontier. Now, as a faculty member, I get to pour into students the way others once poured into me. There’s a sense of family here that you don’t find everywhere; students aren’t just names on a roster, they’re people that we get to walk alongside as they grow in their relationship with Jesus and prepare for a lifetime of ministry. I love that Frontier holds firm to the authority of Scripture while equipping students practically for the real work of ministry ahead. It’s a privilege to be part of what God is doing here in LaGrange.
